Lakeshore Custom Cabinets began over 35 years ago as Van Pelt Dental Cabinets. Van Pelt started Lakeshore Cabinets as a residential cabinet company over 30 years ago to tap into the housing market. We (SW Builders) bought Lakeshore Cabinets in 2014 then and re-named it Lakeshore Custom Cabinets due to we were getting overloaded in our smaller cabinet shop (Custom Wood Shop) which started in 1996.
Location doesn’t stop us. We have built and shipped cabinets as far South as Laredo Texas & Key West, and as far West as the Mississippi River and the East coast.
Our Values
We are a Christian faith-based company that seeks to provide excellent quality cabinetry with our customer in mind. We carry pre-built cabinets from WW Wood Products: Shiloh, Eclipse, and Aspect and Wellborn Cabinets: Select, and Premier lines. We install all of our products or if you prefer, we will provide the necessary information to install yourself. We also provide laminate, solid surface, butcher block, and quartz countertops.
We give a 10% Thank You discount to any customer that previously has, or presently is serving in the US military or public service field, law enforcement, EMT, and fire rescue.
