We’ve noticed that when you put away excess amounts of decor, it allows for your space to feel ready for some fun holiday touches. It also gives a fresh, clean slate which is essential before bringing out the fun, holiday pieces.
2. Go Through Holiday Items and Donate
Before decorating takes place, we recommend going through your holiday decor and seeing if there are any items you have stored that you simply won’t use again. Now is the perfect time to donate those items instead of them simply continuing to take up unnecessary space.
3. Freshen Up Your Style
What better time than now to find a few new pieces that complete your holiday decor. It’s surprising what a new wreath, ornaments, or throw blanket can do to complete your space. It doesn’t need to be excessive, expensive, or extravagant. It could even be as simple as mixing up where the tree is placed this year.
